The Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) recently led the inauguration of the Helen M. Ong Patient Services and Multi-Purpose Hall, on February 23, 2026, as a tribute to the unwavering compassion of its longtime benefactor.
Consul Helen Ong, a prominent figure known for championing the needs of cancer patients and their families, has been a driving force behind numerous fundraising initiatives.
The event culminated in a heartfelt message from Ong herself. This new "wing" of the PCS aims to provide a stronger support system and a renewed sense of hope for those navigating the challenges of the disease.
The newly renovated facility, fully funded by the BDWP, strengthens the support extended to cancer patients and their families. The program included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a blessing and a heartfelt message from Consul Helen Ong.
Testimonies and performances also graced the occasion, making it a deeply moving tribute. More than that, it amplified hope tenfold.
