The PCS leads two major coalitions in the fight against non-communicable diseases – the Philippine Coalition for the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (PCPCNCD) and the Metro Manila Integrated Non-Communicable Diseases Program Coalition (MIND-PC). These groups count close to 100 stakeholders in the government and private sector which are committed in policy making, program implementation, monitoring and surveillance and disease control of the four major NCDs in the country, namely CANCER, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). The PCS is also in collaboration cancer-control activitieswith the Andres Soriano Foundation, Avon Foundation, and the Philippine Society of Hepatology.
