Breast & Pap Smear Screening in Quezon City

More than 20 depressed communities in Quezon City is now subject of an ongoing lecture series on Cancer in Women, breast examination and pap smear screening drive by the PCS Education and Information team that started from January until April. This is a collaborative project of the Society with the Quezon City Ladies Foundation of Ms. Joy Belmonte, the Guardians Bona Fide for Hope Foundation, Inc. and the Damayan ng Maralitang Pilipinong Api, Inc. More than being a screening activity, the campaign is to instill the idea among the poor that early detection of breast and cervical cancers will yield positive results.
